The mushrooms were distributed through retail stores. Listeria infection typically causes short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, and gastrointestinal upset in healthy individuals, but can cause miscarriage or stillbirth in pregnant women and severe illness in the elderly or immunocompromised. No illnesses had been reported as of the recall notice.
